３年「明かりをつけよう」

「①豆電球、②ソケット、③乾電池だけで、明　かりをつけなさい。」

Turn on the light using ①②③.

「ソケットのコードの両端を電池の両端につな　いだらつきました。」

I connected both ends of the socket cord to both ends of the battery（③）.

「それをしてもつきません。」

Still I can't get a hit.

「ソケットに豆電球がしっかり入っていません。」

 The miniature light bulb is not firmly inserted into the socket.

「④導線と豆電球と乾電池で明かりをつけなさい。」Turn on the light using ①③④.

「導線を電池の＋極と－極に直接つなぐと危険です。」

 It is dangerous to connect the wires directly to the + and - poles of the battery.

「光った！」の最初の声は５分後。

The first voice of "It shines!" is 5 minutes later.

★この日は３年１組の教室でスタート。あびくさんは、とても寒そうです。

「日本とネパール。どっちが寒い？」と英語でたずねました。変な英語です。

「Japan（日本）」の答えに驚きました。ちゃんと意味が伝わっているのかな？
